Where the work actually shows up.

Four scenarios cover most of our active engagements. The shape of the work changes by counterparty, but the questions we get asked are similar enough that it's useful to write them down.

Application 01

Supplier-side fulfillment

A supplier with national distribution but limited regional staffing wants someone in the Gulf states who can chase exceptions on their behalf, without standing up an office. We sit between their dispatch and the receiving warehouses, and we close out the cycle each week with a written log.

Typical counterparty
Brand-side distributor
Engagement length
3 to 12 months
Cadence
Daily phone, weekly written
Deliverable
Closeout log + variance notes
Retail back-of-store with stocked shelving

Application 02

Multi-channel retail resupply

A regional retailer with both an in-store footprint and a thin e-commerce channel wants the back-of-store resupply rhythm cleaned up. We rebuild the cadence between stockroom, primary warehouse, and the e-commerce ship-from-store flow, and we keep a running deviation log per location.

Typical counterparty
Mid-market retailer
Engagement length
6 to 18 months
Cadence
Weekly on-site, monthly written
Deliverable
Resupply rubric + per-store log
Electronic device under inspection

Application 03

Returns and RMA workflows

Returns from electronics retail need a written rubric that the back-of-store can actually follow. We write that rubric in plain English, train the receiving staff on it once, and pick up the file again whenever the partner asks for a quarterly review.

Typical counterparty
Retailer or distributor
Engagement length
Project-scoped, with quarterly review
Cadence
Project burst + standing review
Deliverable
Written RMA rubric + review notes
Forklift moving pallets between bays

Application 04

Cross-warehouse handoff

Inventory transferred between two third-party warehouses during a route refresh. We coordinate the calendar, witness the handoff via partner photographs and dispatch notes, and reconcile the count against the system of record at both ends. Then we sign off the handoff in a one-page memo.

Typical counterparty
Distributor or 3PL
Engagement length
2 to 6 weeks per cycle
Cadence
Daily during cycle
Deliverable
Handoff memo + count reconciliation
